Last updated 1 Sept 2026 · Ardor B.V., Keizersgracht 312, AmsterdamWho we are
This website is run by Ardor B.V., an independent marketing agency registered in the Netherlands, with its office at Keizersgracht 312, 1016 EZ Amsterdam. Ardor is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. If you have a question about your data, write to our privacy contact using the details on the contact page.
What we collect
When you send us a brief. Your name, company, email address, the services you are interested in, your budget and timing, and anything you write in your message. We only ask for what we need to reply properly.
When you visit the site. Basic technical information your browser sends with every request, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited. We use it to keep the site secure and working.
When you email or call us. Whatever you choose to tell us, and the record of our conversation.
We do not collect special categories of personal data, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Why we use it
- To reply to your brief and arrange a first conversation (our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or steps taken at your request before a contract).
- To run a project with you once we work together (performance of a contract).
- To keep the website secure and fix problems (our legitimate interest in running a reliable site).
- To meet our legal obligations, for example for accounting and tax records.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies and local storage it needs to work. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will use a privacy-friendly tool, update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers who help us run the agency, such as our hosting provider, email provider and project tools, under contracts that require them to protect it. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, we rely on safeguards approved by the European Commission. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep briefs and related correspondence for up to two years after our last contact, unless we start working together. Client project records are kept for as long as the contract and our legal obligations require, usually seven years for financial records. Technical logs are kept for up to 30 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it. To use any of these rights, contact us and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), or the supervisory authority where you live.
Changes
We review this policy at least once a year. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If we make significant changes, we will say so on this page.
